As we start to wrap up Aiken for our 2021 season I want to recognize the horses that are with who may not be on the competition train but who work just as hard during the winter.
Helping the horses that just need some focused training for the winter get that time is the other aspect of Aiken I love. Winter in New England is hard for the horses and the people so every time I can encourage an owner to send their horse south I know I can send them home in the spring stronger and more focused on their job!! Something to keep in mind when we start planning for winter 2022!
So a pat on the neck for the fantastic group of non competing horses I have gotten the chance to work with this winter! They are truly a great group of horses!
